Learning settings
Here you will find a brief explanation of the various learning settings. If you have any questions about one of the formats, our contact persons will be happy to help you at any time.
Attendance
These events take place exclusively in person at the respective event location. Unless otherwise stated on the event page, this is usually the TAE building in Ostfildern near Stuttgart.
On-Demand
Learn on demand, when and where it suits you - and at your own pace. Various digital learning formats are used in our learning-on-demand courses. Whether it's a classic online course with video lectures, learning nuggets or interactive exercises - the learning units are always tailored to the content to be taught. These courses are available to you 24 hours a day.
Live-Online
In contrast to our on-demand offerings, these events are not available on demand, but take place „live" on a fixed date. Participants and speakers meet in a virtual event room, hear and see each other and can immediately exchange questions, information or documents. Common web conferencing tools are used here, which are easy to use, require only minimal technical requirements and are optimised for the communication of digital learning content.
Blended-Learning
Courses of this type are made up of virtual and non-virtual parts. This learning method is often used for certificate programmes. A face-to-face unit is then followed by online training, for example. This can be an on-demand or live online session. Blended learning ultimately combines face-to-face and online methods in digital and analogue learning settings - always optimally tailored to the respective content, of course.
Flex
These are hybrid events. This means you have the choice. Decide for yourself whether you would like to take part on site or online from home or your workplace. If you choose to take part online, you will be connected „live" to the event on site via a web conferencing tool on the regular attendance date. You will hear the questions of all participants, but the camera in the course room will be focussed on the speaker, while documents will be available to you digitally. The tool is easy to use and the technical requirements are minimal. Mixed groups are not uncommon here.
